Before your appointment
A little preparation helps.
Use these prompts to prepare for a conversation with a clinician. This page cannot assess urgency or diagnose your child.
Breathing difficulty needs prompt attention
If your child is struggling to breathe, has blue or grey lips, collapses, or is difficult to wake, call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately. Do not wait for an online appointment.
For new or worsening symptoms, contact a clinician promptly, even if none of these warning signs is present.
